Silvia Amodeo: I’m asking myself, what is this thing that has me hallucinating and obsessed at times? What is happening to me with this wholehearted commitment I have for the Sala at Hudson Valley Park? With this possibility of voting that has opened up— which has a much more profound connotation for me than a simple vote. I feel it like an internal vote. I make votes* so this project is fulfilled. I make votes so that Silo’s Message reaches more people everyday. And i find myself in this possibility that the more votes I make each day, more votes are inside of me. It get more inspired and I love this project each time more. I feel that it’s a contribution to the project that Silo spoke about in 2010 about a Park in the East Coast of the US. There is a Park but it’s not complete, it’s missing the symbol and the meaning of the Sala which is even more important than the Sala. I know we won’t be able to build the Sala with this voting campaign, because there’s not much money to win. But that’s not what makes this new project become concrete, but rather that it reaches the hearts of many, that it opens doors for many people, that they hear this message. That’s what inspires me and makes me committed to this project and I am thankful for this possibility.
